Teething?

So yes teething can cause cold symptoms. Some kids are bothered by it, others notso much. Mine drooled alot had runny noses and were little BITCHES!

Does teething cause excess snot? I've done some web-creeping, and I keep coming across the term 'teething colds,' which describes Salsa's situation perfectly. Tons of snot, but no fever or chills. The kid has a gnarly tooth poking through- one of those sharp bastards- but I think there's more coming.
Anyway, you experienced mums and dads know more about this stuff! Help?
